Leffel, Mary Ann (16 Oct. 1884 - 5 Sept. 1953)

Mrs. Herman Leffel of Unity, Wisconsin died Saturday at 7:00 P.M. in the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital of a heart ailment after a long illness. She was 68 years old. Funeral services were held Wednesday in the Trinity Lutheran church, Rev. Claude Vander Stoep officiating, and internment was made in the March Rapids cemetery.

Mary Ann Splitgerber was born in Germany on October 16, 1884, and came to the United States at the age of seven. She married Herman Leffel, who survives her, on May 21, 1929. They lived in Unity the past 23 years.

The following step children also survive: Mrs. Steve (Elsie) Bezak of Unity; Mrs. Ray (Beatrice) Celimoski, Melvin of Milwaukee, Charles of Wentworth and Daniel and Norman of Cloverland. Also 13 grand children, two great grand children and one brother. Four sisters and three brothers preceded her in death.
