Maxey, Albert Mrs. (4 May 1900 - 25 May 1953)

Mrs. Albert Maxey of Sheboygan, age 53, died Monday evening, May 25, in St. Nicholas Hospital after a month’s illness. Services were held Thursday morning at Grace Episcopal church, Canon William Elwell officiating, and burial was made in Wilwood cemetery.

Mrs. Maxey was born in Colby, May 4, 1900, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Smart. She was united in marriage with Albert Maxey on July 13, 1928, at Waukegan, Ill. The couple located in Sheboygan and resided there since.

Surviving are her husband; one son, Darrel; three brothers, Benjamin of Milwaukee and Charles and Donald of Colby; three sisters, Mrs. Walter (Edith) Wurthmann of Wausau, Mrs. Michael (Evelyn) Nehring of Edgar and Mrs. William (Ruth) Loughead of Abbotsford; and her father, Alfred Smart of Colby, Wis. Her mother and two children preceded her in death.

Mrs. Maxey will be remembered by many for her congenial and affectionate disposition, bright and winning in her ways, so that friendship’s circle to her was a large one.
