Zieman, Edna (Marriage - 18 Apr. 1953)

Miss Edna Zieman, daughter of Mrs. Theresa Zieman of Abbotsford, and John Stettler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Stettler of Colby, Wisconsin were united in marriage at the First Evangelical and Reformed church in Colby Saturday, April 18, Rev. Jack Grether of Neillsville reading the marriage ceremony. Two songs, "O Promise Me" and "O Perfect Love" were sung by Miss Annabelle Klaar, accompanied by Miss Rena Bauer. The couple was attended by Mrs. George Weller of Colby, sister of the groom, and Lawrence Stettler, brother of the groom.

The bride was attired in a cocoa brown suit with white and blue accessories and her corsage consisted of red and white roses. Mrs. Weller wore a tan suit with white accessories and her corsage consisted of red and yellow roses with orange blossoms.

A reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Weller which was gaily decorated with blue and white streamers with a huge white wedding bell in the center. In the evening, a dance was held at the Colby Park.

Guests and relatives here for the wedding were from Fountain City, Cochraine, Marshfield, Fond du Lac, Medford and Abbotsford, Wis.

The couple will make their home on a farm in the town of Hull where the groom is engaged in farming.
