Augustine, Lucille (Marriage - 10 May 1952)

Miss Lucille Augustine, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Augustine, and Isadore J. Umlauft, nephew of Mrs. Amelia Kadonsky, were united in marriage, Saturday, May 10th, at 2:00 P.M. at St. Paul’s Lutheran church in Green Grove, Rev. Paul Dietz reading the marriage ceremony. Mrs. Arthur Schultz, sister of the bride, was matron of honor and Mrs. Elroy Augustine, sister-in-law of the bride, and Mrs. George Kadonsky, cousin of the groom, were bridesmaids. The groom was attended by Arthur Schultz as best man and George Kadonsky, cousin of the bride, and Elroy Augustine, brother of the bride. Judith and Myrna Ann Augustine were flower girls.

The bride was attired in a white satin gown with lace scalloped collar, lace paneled front, with pointed sleeves, long train heart-shaped hat and finger-tip veil. Her bouquet consisted of yellow carnations. The bridesmaids were attired in identical gowns in pink and blue, respectively, with net over skirt, off the shoulder effect, with matching hats. Their corsages consisted of pink and white carnations. The flower girls wore similar white satin dresses with white ribbon headdresses and their bouquets consisted of pink and white carnations. The bride’s mother wore a dark green crepe street length dress, drape effect skirt with an orchid hat with veil. The groom’s aunt wore a navy blue pin-dot faille dress with white capelet collar and white cuffs and a white lilac hat. Both wore pink and white carnation corsages.

A reception was held at the Curtiss hall.

The couple will make their home in Marshfield where the groom is employed by the Rollahome and the bride by Dr. R. S. Oettiker.

The groom’s gift to each of his attendants was a necktie clasp; the bride’s gift to each one of her attendants were ear rings and a necklace; the groom’s gift to his bride were ear rings and a necklace; the bride’s gift to each flower girl was a necklace.

Out of town guests at the wedding were from Milwaukee, Thorp, Dorchester, Stetsonville, Oconomowoc, Eau Claire, Abbotsford, Unity, and St. Paul, Minn.
