Jensen, Sylvia Faye (Marriage - 19 Jan. 1952)

The home of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Jensen of Colby, route 1, was the setting for the nuptial service Saturday at 2:30 p.m., which united in marriage their daughter, Miss Sylvia Faye Jensen, and Fred R. Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Brown of Eau Claire. Rev. F. H. Sprengler of Dorchester officiated. The couple’s only attendants were Miss Eileen Wilson and LaVern Rosenthal, both of Chippewa Falls.

The bride was attired in a rose colored suit accented with black accessories. Her corsage consisted of clusters of white roses. Miss Wilson wore a navy blue suit with black accessories. Her corsage consisted of white gardenias.

Supper was served to about 50 guests. The newlyweds greeted the guests at the bride’s home during the reception.

The bride is a graduate of Chippewa Falls High School and the groom is a graduate of the Eau Claire High School.

Out of town guests at the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Nolte and Mrs. Elsie Mittzlac of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. John Gebert and family and Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Stevens of Medford, Mr. and Mrs. Don Judas of Dorchester, Mr. and Mrs. Eard Cramblit, Mrs. Curtiss Huntington, Mrs. Edith Lyons and Everett Curry of Eau Claire, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Glenz and Mrs. Elmer Glenz of Fall Creek.
