Ciutiss, Wis. - Oct. 2, 1952

The Ladies’ Aid of St. Paul’s Lutheran church will meet at the village hall on Wednesday, Oct. 8. Mrs. Wm. Jakel will be the hostess.

Mrs. Henry Peterson will be hostess to the Women’s Guild of the Ev. and Reformed church on Wednesday, Oct. 8.

Members of St. Paul’s Lutheran Ladies’ Aid who attended the Women’s Missionary League Rally at Spencer Sunday afternoon were Mrs. Art Thieme, Mrs. Anna Tonn, Mrs. Richard Pohl and Mrs. Augusta Stacke.

Arthur Laabs attended the National Dairy Show at Chicago last week.

Mr. and Mrs. George Hoff spent Sunday with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Stoltenberg, and sons at Wittenberg.

Mr. and Mrs. W. Geary and daughter spent Sunday with relatives at La Crosse.

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Northum of Superior spent the week-end with the latter’s brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Stadler, and other relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Fabian Woodzicke of Lake Tomahawk visited with Mrs. Martha Hermel Friday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Stockmeyer of La Crosse spent the week-end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Stockmeyer.

Glen Schaus and family are moving to Kaukauna, Wis., where he is employed at a paper mill.

Miss Kenna Ostenson, who had been a patient at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital, returned home Wednesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Nenzel and daughter of Bloomer arrived here Tuesday to spend the remainder of the week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Geary.

Mr. and Mrs. Homer Wardwell and family of La Crosse spent the week-end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Erickson.

Miss Dorothy Thompson, attending Wisconsin State College at Stevens Point, spent the week-end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Art Thompson.
