Meyer, Doris M. (30 Apr. 1869 - 31 Jan. 1946)

Mrs. Doris M. Meyer, a former resident of the town of Hull, Wisconsin, who had been an invalid the past four years, died at Marshfield last Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Fobs. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at the Seehafer-Hansen Funeral Home, Rev. G. M. Krueger of the Immanuel Lutheran church officiating, and internment was made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery.

Mrs. Meyer was born in Germany on April 30, 1869, and came to the United States in 1900. She lived in the town of Hull, Marathon county, for 16 years, then spent a year in Marshfield, after which she made her home in Rozellville until returning to Marshfield eight years ago. She was married to Henry T. Meyer in 1880. He died Sept. 3, 1934.

Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Henry Fobs of Marshfield; four sons, William of Marshfield, Rudolph of New Rome, Albert of East Chicago, Ind., and Kenneth of Whiting, Ind.; a sister in Germany; 15 grand children and two great grand children. Three children, Henry, Dora and Herman, preceded her in death.
