Krug, Wayne (1 Oct. 1952 - 27 Dec. 2007)

Wayne Krug, 55, Loyal, formerly of the Owen-Withee area died at his residence on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007.

At his request, there will be no public service and a private family gathering will be at a later date.

Wayne was born Oct. 1, 1952, in Stanley, the son of Dean and Adeline (Lentz) Krug. He was a graduate of Owen-Withee High School and attended the Fox Valley Technical School for auto mechanics.

He serviced his country in the US Army during the Viet Nam era.

Wayne first married Lorraine Maslowski in 1976 and they later divorced.

In 2003, Wayne and the former Kathy Foley were united in marriage in Neillsville, Wis.

He had been employed with Marawood-Braun for 27 years and then three years with the Braun Concrete and Excavation and then retiring.

Wayne was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed gardening. He was a member of the Loyal American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy, Loyal; his children, Jessica Krug and Lucas Krug, Eau Claire, Robert Dewaid, Colby; step-children, Darcy Tetzlaff, Portland, OR, and Andrew Tetzlaff with the US Navy stationed in Fort Worth, Texas; sisters Kathleen (Mike) Tomazak, Curtiss, Christine (Gary) Fritz, Owen; brothers, Mrk (Melissa) Krug, Greenwood, Michael Krug, Greenwood, Rich (Sandy) Krug, Stratford; and one grandson.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents.
