Twardowski, Mary (July 27, 1928 - December 3, 2007)

Mary Twarowski, age 79, of Cadott, WI formerly of Stanley, WI, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, December 3, 2007.

A Christian Burial Mass will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, Stanley, WI, with Fr. Robert Nelson officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Bernard-St. Hedwig Catholic Cemetery, Thorp, WI. Friends may call on Wednesday evening form 4 - 8 p.m. at the Plombon Funeral Chapel, Stanley, WI. Plombon Funeral Service is assisting the family with arrangements.

Mary was born July 27, 1928, in Lublin, WI, the daughter of Andrew & Anna Shuk. She grew up in the Lublin area and attended area rural schools. She then moved to Chicago, IL, where she worked and met Casmier Twarowski whom she married on October 18, 1947. They resided most of their working years in Chicago, IL, retiring and moving to Stanley, WI, in 1998.

Mary is survived by her special companion, Claire Frank, of Cadott, WI; two brothers: Andrew (Marion) Shuk of Stanley, WI, and William Michalowski of Naperville, IL; one sister, Catherine Michalowski of Chicago, OL; plus many nieces and nephews and great and great-great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Casmier, in 1995; one brother, John Michalowski; one sister, Alexandria Piotrowski; and one nephew, Brian Shuk.
