Prellwitz, Walter E. (9 MAY 1901 - 7 APR 1927)

Walter E. Prellwitz, beloved son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto A. Prellwitz, and brother of Mrs. Herbert Lawton, died suddenly after a short illness, at Chicago, Ill., Thursday, April 7, 1927, at the age of twenty-six years.

He spent his early childhood in Greenwood (Clark Co.), Wis., later moving with his parents to Milwaukee where he attended Marquette University. He entered the employ of the Chain Belt Company, for whom he traveled extensively for the past seven years. At the time of his death he was employed at the Superior Supply Co., Chicago, Ill.

His immediate family motored from Milwaukee, together with many of his close friends, Mrs. E.E. Schultz and daughter Margaret of Pittsburgh, Pa.; Albert S. Ott, Pearl Pergande of Milwaukee; Mrs. Tim Hilixon of Marshfield; Mr. Jos. Arnold and George Wallner Jr. of Wis. Rapids and Mr. George Wallner, Louis Wallner, Mrs. S. Lofner and Mrs. George Pickle, all of Sherry, Wis.

Funeral services were held from the local St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Monday, April 11th, Rev. S.P. Frye officiating. The body was laid to rest in the Catholic Cemetery.

The bereaved parents and sister have the sympathy of their many Greenwood friends.
