Robert Schmidt

CHILI -- Robert Schmidt, 68, of N5660 Division Ave., Chili, died on Wednesday, March 29, 2006, at his home in the town of Fremont, Clark County.

Robert was born on May 21, 1937, in Auburndale to William and Anna (Krause) Schmidt. Bobby lived in the Chili area for over 30 years. He spent much of his time with the Stichert families, working with Belgian horses and enjoying life on the farm. He took pleasure in the simple joys of life -- coffee, candy, cheese, beer and chewing tobacco. He held a special fondness for his cats and they will miss his tender loving care.

He is survived by his brothers, Clifford Schmidt, La Crosse, and Allan (Darlene) Schmidt, Marshfield, and his twin sister, Betty (Donald) Singstock, Marshfield.

He was predeceased by his parents; his brothers, Wallace, Sidney, Clarence and Lloyd Schmidt; and his sisters, Eleanor Weinfurtner, Margaret Stark and Irma Gereaux.

Thank you to the people of the Chili community for showing Bobby kindness and compassion throughout the years. He will be missed.
