Dusty 'Duddy' Hayes Ohnesorge

GRANTON -- Dusty "Duddy" Hayes Ohnesorge, 16, of Granton died Friday, March 24, 2006, from injuries sustained in an accident.

A memorial service for Dusty will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, March 31, 2006, at the Granton High School.

The Gesche Funeral Home is assisting Dusty's family with arrangements.

He was born May 3, 1989, in Dubuque, Iowa, the son of Robert M. and Karen (Witter) Ohnesorge. He was currently a student at Granton High School, where he was involved in FFA, basketball and cross country. Dusty dared to be different and was a hard worker. He collected dragon statues and Hot Wheels cars. He was an outdoors person and loved to ride his ATV.

He is survived by his mother, Karen (John) Burns of Dubuque, Iowa; his father, Robert M. (Kirsten Cheever) Ohnesorge of Granton; a brother, Chase Ohnesorge of Urbandale, Iowa; stepbrothers, Kevin and Erik Polsean of Granton, Scott (Judith) Burns of Weiler, Germany, John Leo (Sue) Burns of Colona, Ill., and Donny Burns of Dubuque, Iowa; and his grandmother and step-grandfather, Mary and Fred Thielen of Bellevue.
