JANESVILLE -- Lorinda Runzheimer, 91, Janesville, fomerly of Colby, Wisconsin, died Monday, March 13, 2006. Maurina/Community Funeral Home is assisting the family.

SPENCER -- Lorinda G. Runzheimer, 91, of Fort Health and Rehabilitation, Fort Atkinson, formerly of Colby, Wisconsin, died Monday, March 13, 2006, at Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 18, 2006, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer, with the Rev. Karl Rose officiating. Interment will be in Colby Memorial Cemetery.

Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at Community Funeral Home, Colby, and again from 1 p.m. to service time Saturday at the church.

Memorials may be made to The Lutheran Hour or Trinity Lutheran Church of Spencer Mission Fund.

She was born June 30, 1914, in rural Wausau, the daughter of Gustav and Louise (Giese) Parsch. Lorinda married Walter H. Runzheimer at St. John's Lutheran Church, town of Easton, Wausau, on June 21, 1938, and together they lived their entire life in Hull town, Marathon County. Walter preceded her in death Jan. 17, 2005. She assisted with the family insurance agency.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer, Walther League, Lutheran Layman's League, Priscilla Guild and LWML. She volunteered as a Sunday School teacher, organist and at the Wausau Bethesda Thrift Store. Walter and Lorinda moved to Milton, in September of 2004 to be near their children.

She is survived by her six children, Karen (Ray) Redmann of Janesville, Lofton Lee (Kitty) Runzheimer of Northfield, Minn., James (Janice) Runzheimer of Arlington, Texas, Beverly (John) Yagow of Watertown, Susan (Jamil) Khan of Janesville and Mark (Carol) Runzheimer of Delafield; 15 grandchildren, Dean, Dawn and David Redmann, Jane and Kurt Runzheimer, Daniel, Sarah and Kristin Runzheimer, Deborah Yagow, Marie, Taimur, Babur and Anna Khan and Aric and Evan Runzheimer; five great-grandchildren, Jessica, Luke, Marie, Rachel and Ben; a brother, Norman (Ednamae) Parsch of Wausau; a sister, Gertrude Zarnke of Wausau; sister-in-law, Doris Parsch of Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Rev. Harold Parsch, and brother-in-law, Norman Zarnke.
