Bobby E. Galbreath

Bobby E. Galbreath, 79, Neillsville, died Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2006, in the Palliative Care Unit of Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, 2006, at Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville, Wis.

Interment will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery with military rites accorded by the Neillsville Veterans Council.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Bobby Eugene Galbreath was born May 13, 1926, in Neillsville to John Harrison Galbreath and Sarah Ellen Woods Galbreath. He married Mildred Halle at the Catholic parsonage in Neillsville, Wis. Mildred preceded him in death. He was in the Army Air Force in 1944, a member of the 234 Bomb Group (B29's 2nd Air Force), Denver. He settled in Sharon, where he raised his family. He worked at Sunstrand Machine Tool in Belvidere, Ill. Bobby moved to Neillsville after retiring in 1981, after 30 years of service at Sunstrand.

Bobby is survived by three daughters, Cleo (Wayne) Peters, Elkhorn, Kathleen (Joseph) Hansen, Marshfield, and Jacalyn Crone, Greenwood; seven grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Burl (Jean) Galbreath, Loves Park, Ill., and Earl Galbreath, Wisconsin Rapids.
