Karpinski, Kazimer (18 JAN 1892 - 19 APR 1940)

Kazimer Karpinski of the town of Worden (Clark Co., Wis.), died at the Mt Washington Sanatorium at Eau Claire of pulmonary tuberculosis, on Friday, April 19th, 1940, after an illness of nearly two years. He had reached the age of 48 years, 3 months and 1 day.

The deceased was born in Illinois but had spent nearly all of his life on a farm in the vicinity of Thorp, with the exception of the time spent in the service of his country in the World War.

He was united in marriage to Mary Wilczek at St. Hedwig’s Church on June 27, 1938 (Maybe 1928?). He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Karpinski, his wife and four children, two sons, Marion 10, Chester 3; two daughters, Eleanor 9 and Agnes 6; two brothers, William and Henry Karpinski and one step-brother, Chas. Deniszkiewicz; three sisters, Mrs. Rose Jasinski and Mrs. Sam Borowski of Thorp, and Mrs. Max Krupa of Washington.

The funeral procession proceeded from the Bogumill Funeral Home at 8:30 o’clock Monday morning and services were held at St. Hedwig’s Church at nine o’clock, Rev. F.A. Kulig and Rev. Thos. Adamiak officiating. Military honors were accorded the deceased at the grave by members of Cecil Tormey Post No. 118, American Legion, of which he was a member, and the following members of the Polish National Alliance Group, to which he belonged, served as pallbearers: Frank Pietras, Martin Przysmicki, Frank Wyczawski, Victor Lobacz, Victor Zielinski and Mike Macadlo. Interment was made in the parish cemetery.
