Hudson, William Roy #2 (13 Feb. 1884 - 22 Apr. 1944)

Funeral services for William Roy Hudson of Unity, who died at the Marshfield hospital Saturday morning at the age of 60 years, were held Tuesday afternoon with the American Legion post of Unity in charge. Services were held at 1:30 at the Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby, where the body had been lying in state, and at 2:00 o’clock at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Colby, Rev. O. Hoffmann officiating.

Mr. Hudson was born on Feb. 13, 1884, in Oezterville, Wis., and married Anna Kops at Colby on June 28th, 1919. He lived in the states of Idaho and Washington and was a resident of Unity the past 25 years. He was a veteran of World War I, and a member of the American Legion.

Surviving are his wife; four children, Dorothy, Harold and Geraldine, at home, and Mrs. Harold (Margie) Runge of Unity; one sister, Mrs. Mentor Christian of Timberley, Idaho; and two grand children. One sister and one brother preceded him in death.
