Blaskowski, Margaret "Peggy" Loraine (February 10, 1944 - November 18, 2007)

Margaret "Peggy" Blaskowski, age 63, of Granton, WI died Sunday, November 18, 2007 at the Memorial Health and Rehabilitation Center in Neillsville, Wis.

Margaret Loraine "Peggy" Schlinsog was born on February 10, 1944 in Neillsville, the daughter of Emil and Loraine (Lucht) Schlinsog. She graduated from Granton High School in 1962. After high school she attended computer training in Wausau, Wis. She then worked for Sentry Insurance in Wausau, Weyerhaeuser of Marshfield and Figi’s in Marshfield and Neillsville as a computer processor. She was united in marriage to Fred Blaskowski in 1964, they later divorced. Peggy loved hunting, raising beef cattle on her farm and her dogs.

Peggy was a member of the Zion American Lutheran Church in Granton.

Peggy is survived by her good friend and soul-mate, Fred Blaskowski, of Neillsville, a daughter, Tracey O’Connell, of Neillsville; and a grandson, DeRick O’Connell, of Minneapolis, MN. She is also survived by a brother, Marvin Schlinsog, of Marshfield; and a sister, Marjorie (Gary) Dahl, of Granton; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Funeral services for Peggy will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at the Zion American Evangelical Lutheran Church in Granton. Pastor Keith Lueneburg will officiate. Providing music will be Susan Lueneburg, organist. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service at the church.

Casket bearers are: Bryan Dahl, Lori Dahl, Fritz Garbisch, Ronnie Garbisch, Dave Hillert and Rick Tischeafer.

The Gesche Funeral Home of Neillsville is assisting Peggy’s family with arrangements.
