Curtiss - Feb. 10, 1944

A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Krueger on Jan. 29th.

Miss Anna B. Hanson of Wausau spent the week-end with her sister and brother in law, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Machlett.

Miss Evelyn Fahrenbach, teaching at Edgar, spent the week-end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Fahrenbach.

Mrs. George Pease and sons, Jack and Bobby, of Wisconsin Rapids, spent the week-end with her father, F. W. Laabs.

George Hoff attended the hardware dealers convention at Milwaukee last week.

Miss Ethel Erickson, Eau Claire, spent the week-end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Erickson.

Rev. and Mrs. G. E. Borreson attended a pastoral conference at Sand Creek on Monday.

Miss Myrtle Hoff spent the week-end with friends at Stevens Point.

The L.D.R. of the Ev. Lutheran church will meet at Owen on Wednesday evening, Feb. 16, with Betty Ann Froland as hostess.

Fred Machlett returned to his duties as manager of the Bootzin ware house on Monday after a month’s absence due to illness.

The Curtiss P.T.A. will meet on Thursday evening, Feb. 17th. The program committee is Mrs. A. J. Hennlich, chairman; Mrs. Harry Laabs and Rev. G. E. Borreson, refreshments, Lee Smiley, John Cross and Rev. G. E. Borreson.
