Willard - by Mrs. Arnold B. Claire

***Mrs. L. A. Clair retuned to her home late Monday evening after an absence of three months. She has been visiting various parts of Illinois during that time and mostly staying at home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Barchers. So ends the bachelor career for Arnold B. for a time at least.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Prebil were Eau Claire visitors Friday.

Charles Debevec, U. S. sailor is home on a two-week furlough for Pensacola, Fla.

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bayuk and family of Hillsboro spent the weekend at home.

Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Quast and Dolores of Granton visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Bayuk and family Sunday afternoon.

Correction -

It's should read Mrs. A. L. Clair (Mrs. Aaron Leslie Clair). Aaron and Elizabeth (Lizzie) were my g-uncle and aunt. The Illinois couple with whom she stayed were Mr. and Mrs. Glen Borchers (Mrs. Borchers was Lizze's daughter Mildred (my mom's 1st cousin).
