Weller, Hilda (Marriage - 19 Dec. 1943)

Miss Hilda Weller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Weller of Colby, and Sgt. John K. Kastorff, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Kastorff, were united in marriage on Sunday, December 19th, 1943, at 4:30 P.M. at the Church of Peace at Fond du Lac, Wis., Rev. Karl Koehler reading the marriage ceremony. The couple was attended by Cpl. And Mrs. Roland Kastorff, brother and sister in law of the groom. Ushers were George Weller, brother of the bride, and Robert Hoerneck, nephew of the groom.

The bride was attired in a soldier blue wool dressmaker’s suit with fuschia accessories and orchid corsage. Mrs. Roland Kastorff wore a brown wool dressmaker’s suit with gold accessories.

A reception was held in the evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Hoerneck of Fond du Lac for sixty relatives and friends. The couple left on a short wedding trip to Chicago.

The groom is a sergeant in the U.S. army and is located at Selfridge Field, Mich. The bride is employed at Fond du Lac by Giddings & Lewis Machine Tool Co.
