Jodine 'Jody' K. Waldhart

WEST BEND -- Jodine "Jody" K. Waldhart (nee Krueger), of West Bend, entered into Eternal Life Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2006, at the age of 47.

Visitation will take place from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20, 2006, at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 1025 S. Seventh Ave., West Bend, followed by a Memorial Mass of Christian burial, celebrated by the Rev. Jeffrey Haines.

Jody was born April 26, 1958, in Marshfield, daughter of Fred and Joyce Krueger. She attended Colby schools and graduated from UW-Eau Claire in 1980. She then began her teaching career as a business education teacher at Slinger High School. She later received her Masters in Library Science, and most recently has been the dedicated high school librarian. On Jan. 2, 1982, she married her Colby, Wis. High School sweetheart, Steve Waldhart. Jody was an enthusiastic and active parent in the West Bend community.

Jody is survived by her loving husband, Steve; and her devoted sons, Jonathan and Jeremy. She is the cherished daughter of Joyce (nee Radeztsky) Krueger; and beloved sister of Jana (Mike) Wagner, Jacci (Jim) Andersen and Jim (Sarah) Krueger. Jody is the treasured daughter-in-law of Marie Waldhart; dear sister-in-law of Lee (Mary) Waldhart, Fran Waldhart, Gary (Sherry) Waldhart, Phil (Donna) Waldhart, Tom (Janet) Waldhart, Rick "Wally" (Tracy) Waldhart, Jeanine (Hugh) Feier, Peggy (Mark) Larsen and Joann (Jim) Adams.

She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Jody also will be sadly missed by her Oreo and was preceded in death by her loving father, Fred Krueger.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials that are offered to her children's education fund or the Jody Waldhart memorial/scholarship fund (for swimming or other high school activities).

Jody will always be remembered for her loving devotion to her family, her dedication to her career in education, and her passion for the numerous sporting and community activities enjoyed by her family and friends.

Phillip Funeral Home of West Bend is assisting the Waldhart family. 262-338-2050 www.phillipfuneralhome.com.
