Koeppen, Violet (Marriage - 6 Mar. 1943)

Miss Violet Koeppen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Koeppen, and Wesley Frome, were united in marriage at the Zion Ev. Lutheran parsonage Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock, Rev. O. Hoffmann reading the marriage ceremony. The couple was attended by Miss June Koeppen, the bride’s sister, and Arland Elstrom, the groom’s nephew.

The bride was attired in a black silk romance crepe ensemble with pink accessories and a hat of pink. She carried a bouquet of pink roses and white carnations. The maid of honor was attired in a similar black ensemble with white accessories and a white flowered hat. She carried pink and white carnations.

Immediate relatives and friends were guests later at a reception held at the home of the bride’s parents. The home was nicely decorated for the occasion with pink and white streamers. Out of town guests included Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Zassenhaus, Jr., and son, Billy Lee, of Vesper.

The newlyweds will make their home on the farm of the groom’s parents.
