Puttkamer, Marian (Marriage - 17 April 1943)

Miss Marin Puttkamer, daughter of Mrs. Walter Schultz, Neillsville, and Walter Kren, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kren, Neillsville, were united in marriage at Sunset Point, Neillsville, at 8 p.m. Saturday, April 17, the Rev. G. W. Longenecker, of the Congregational Church of this city conducting the single-ring ceremony. Six guests witnessed the service.

The bride was dressed in a powder blue crepe street dress, her attendant, Miss Eleanor Kren, wearing a navy blue crepe street dress. Kenneth Kren acted as best man.

A wedding reception and dinner were served at the home of the bride’s mother, there being 13 guests in attendance.

The bride was graduated from the Neillsville High School with the class of 1940, fitting herself for clerical work. She holds a position as stenographer with the American Stores Dairy Co.

The groom has been employed as a farm hand for H. C. Naedler for the last two and one-half years.

Out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Earl Schultz of Kansas, in whose home the couple have begun housekeeping.
