Robert Hull

Robert O. Hull 85, of 1303 N. Hinman Ave., Apt. 101, Marshfield, died Saturday, Nov. 26, 2005, at Select Specialty Hospital, West Allis.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday. Dec. 1, 2005, at Maurina Funeral Home, Owen, Wis. Inurnment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Withee, Wis. The Rev. Frank L. Picard will officiate. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of services Thursday at the funeral home.

Robert was born Oct. 6, 1920, to Wallace and Orpha (Eisenbise) Hull in Owen, Wis. He attended Owen schools. Robert and Nina Wenzel were married June 1, 1942.

He attended CCC Camp in Perkinstown and worked for Carnation Milk Co. and Western Condensing Co. in Owen, Wis. In 1950, the Hulls moved to Wausau and he drove semi for Albrent Freight Co. It was later sold to Neuendorf Transport Co. and in 1955 the couple moved to Marshfield, where he continued to work for Neuendorf until his retirement in 1982. They then moved to Phillips to their lake home, where they spent their summers, and to McAllen, Texas, for the winter for 23 years. In 1995, they moved to Withee and in June 2005, moved to their present home in Marshfield.

Robert was a lifetime member of NACCA and also the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. He enjoyed golfing, bowling and watching football, especially the Packers.

Robert is survived by his wife, Nina of Marshfield; his children, Roger (Carole Sue) Hull of Bristol, Ind., Ronald (Companion Beh) Hull of Houston, Texas, Judith (Paul) Woltmann of Marshfield, Thomas (Sonya) Hull of Peoria, Ill., and Timothy (Marla) Hull of DeForest; nine grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Edward (Marian) Hull of Thorp and Bruce (Nancy) Hull of Clarkson, Ky.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Frank and David Hull; and two sisters, Alta Schilling and Orpha Marshall.
