Audorff, August (28 Nov. 1904 - 9 Oct. 1967)

Audorff Funeral Will Be Friday

Neillsville--Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Calvary Lutheran Church here for August Audorff, 62, route 3, Neillsville, who died Monday at Superior where he had been employed. The Rev. E. G. Burtness will officiate and burial will take place in the Butlerville cemetery.

Friends may call at the Georgas Funeral Home on Fourth Street until Friday noon and then at the church.

Mr. Audorff was born in Clark County, Nov. 28, 1904, and was educated in rural schools. He had been employed in farm harvest fields in the west, and was a milk hauler. At the time of his death he was doing road construction at Maple, near Superior.

He was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, and the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 139.

He was married on Oct. 16, 1928, at Neillsville, to the former Rosa Studnichka, who survives him.

Other survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Lawrence (Geneva) Smith, Augusta; Mrs. Bertha Maslanka, and Mrs. Donald (Midge) Lewandowski, Rochford, Ill.; three brothers, Ledwig, Cornell; and Johanas and Ernest, both of Cadott; 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

One sister preceded him in death.
