GRANTON -- Richard Jakobi, 63, of Granton died Oct. 21, 2007, at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

Cuddie Funeral Home of Loyal is assisting the family with arrangements.

Richard Jakobi

GRANTON -- Richard Jakobi, 63, of Granton, died Sunday, Oct. 21. 2007, at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

A memorial service will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26, at Cuddie Funeral Home in Loyal. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.

He was born Oct. 5, 1944, in Greenwood to Roland and Irene (Brown) Jakobi. He worked for Ted Schlinsog for many years at Schlinsog's Dairy. He then lived in the town of York, caring for his mother.

He is survived by his mother, Irene Jakobi of Granton; three brothers, Roger Jakobi of Loyal and Ronald (Donna) Jakobi and Kenneth (Rita) Jakobi, all of Granton; and several nieces and nephews.
