Kenney, Grace (7 JUN 1939)

Alfred Baldeschwiler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Baldeschwiler of the town of Worden (Clark Co., Wis.), and Miss Grace Kenney, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Kenney of this village (Thorp, Clark Co.), were united in marriage by Rev. Father Thomas Adamiak at St. Hedwig’s Church on Wednesday morning, June 7th, 1939, at 8:30 o’clock.

The couple was attended by Bernard Haas and Miss Rita Baldeschwiler, and Raymond Kenney, brother of the bride, and Miss Katherine Kenney of Marshfield. Mrs. Wm. Radcliff of Chicago, the bride’s sister, was matron of honor.

The bride was attired in a gown of white marquisette over satin and wore a finer tip veil of marquisette edged in lace. She carried a bouquet of white roses and lilies of the valley.

The matron of honor was dressed in blue silk chiffon with blue veiled headdress. The bridesmaids wore blue marquisette frocks with lace bodices and blue veiled headdresses. They carried pink rose bouquets.

A reception was held after the ceremony at the home of the bride’s parents, where luncheon and dinner was served to immediate relatives. In the evening a wedding dance was given at Mileaway pavilion.

The newlyweds will reside on a farm near Thorp.
