Barth, Jean Charlene (May 4, 1929 - September 22, 2007)

Jean Charlene Barth, AGE 78, OF Owen, formerly of Neillsville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 22, 2007 at the Clark County Health Care Center, Owen, Wis.

She was born on May 4, 1929 in Neillsville to Herbert Nickel and Lydia Naudos. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and friend. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She loved gardening and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by three daughters, Janel (James) Thur, of Neillsville; Mary (Mike) Esser, of Marshfield; and Molly (John) Drock, of Grand Rapids, MI; a brother, Herbert Nickel, of Germantown, WI; two sisters, Sharon Youngblom, of Pillager, MN, and Judy Brode, of Beaumont, TX; along with six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Virginia.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2007, at Bible Baptist Church, 700 East 15th Street, Neillsville at 3 p.m. with Pastor Mark Fugate officiating.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at the Clark County Health Care Center for the extraordinary care given to Jean.

"You were special to us all. You will always be in our thoughts and in our hearts."

The Cremation Society of Wisconsin is assisting the family with arrangements.
