Jorgensen, Anine (22 DEC 1863 - 3 MAR 1939)

Mrs. Jens Jorgensen quietly passed away at her home Friday, March 3, 1939, after having been confined to her bed seriously ill with pneumonia for several days. Funeral services were conducted for her Monday, March 6, from the Danish Church at Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) with the Rt. Rev. Dixon officiating. Interment was made in the Danish Cemetery.

Anine Jorgensen was born on Dec. 22, 1863, at Langeland, Denmark. She lived her early life in Denmark. In 1901 she came to Owen where she was united in marriage to her husband Jens Jorgensen, making their home on a farm southeast of the city. Mrs. Jorgensen was a keen minded woman always having her home and church as the foremost thoughts in her mind. She possessed a keen since of understanding and had a cheerful and radiant personality.

Her loss is mourned by her husband and one daughter, Madeline, and two brothers, Charles Hansen, owen,a nd Fred Hansen of Temple, Texas. At the time of her passing she was 75 years, 2 months and 8 days of age.
