Funeral services for Mrs. Harvey Wescott of the town of Eau Pleine, who died at the Marshfield hospital March 8th after several months’ illness, were held Saturday afternoon at the Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby. Rev. Harry Lee officiated and internment was made in the Colby cemetery.

The pall bearers were John Spencer, Ronald Fuller, Charles Pasche, Albert Schneider, Byron Talcott, Wm. Neight. The Royal Neighbors were in charge of the flowers.

Eva Bullen, the eldest daughter of David and Hannah Bullen, was born September 28, 1868, and attended public school at Arlington, later being graduated from the Poynette high school. She had taught school several years in Marathon county and was married October 18, 1890, to Harvey Wescott who lived on a farm near Unity and where she since has made her home.

She had been in poor health since last summer and was taken to the hospital at Marshfield the 31st of January where she has been during the past five weeks. Her illness was accompanied with great suffering. All that medical attention and tender ministries of loving hands was of no avail. She died in the faith and hope of a glorious resurrection.

Surviving are the widower; two children, Harry Wescott of Colby and Glen Wescott of Stratford; three sisters, Mrs. Charles Branton of Poynette, Mrs. W. C. Dunlap of Lakefield, Minn., and Mrs. A. H. Nelson of Madison. Also three grand children.

The deceased was a member of the ladies’ aid society of the Methodist church at Unity, a member of the Colby Women’s Relief Corps of the Grand Army of the Republic and a member of the Unity lodge of the Royal Neighbors of America. She had served as recorder for the lodge for many years.

Relatives and friends from out of town here for the funeral were Mrs. Charles Branton of Poynette, Mrs. A. H. Nelson of Madison, Mrs. W. C. Dunlap of Lakefield, Minn., Mrs. Anna Wescott, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sook and Clayton Wescott of Spencer, Mr. and Mrs. E. C.
