Gottschalk, Alvina (Marriage - 22 June 1938)

Miss Alvina Gottschalk, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Gottschalk, and Orvil Baumgart, son of Mr. and Mrs. Godfrey Baumgart, were quietly married at the Green Grove parsonage Wednesday, June 22, at 3:00 o’clock in the afternoon, Rev. M. C. Goetsch reading the marriage ceremony. The couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Kilty.

The bride was attired in a beautiful dress of white satin with lace jacket and shoulder veil and a wrist bouquet. Mrs. Kilty wore a dress of pink net over satin with a shoulder bouquet.

A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, the home being nicely decorated with pink and white streamers and a wedding cake for the occasion.

The couple will reside near Colby. The groom is a truck driver.
