Domer, Elaine Jeanette (Marriage - 8 Sept. 1951)

Two clergymen, the Rev. Frederick Smith and the Rev. Virgil Nulton, officiated at the nuptial service at 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon in the Unity Methodist Church, in which Miss Elaine Jeanette Domer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Domer, Unity, became the bride of Myron W. Greaser, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Greaser, Abbotsford, Wis.

The bride’s ballerina-length gown was fashioned from Chantilly lace over white satin with a detachable jacket. Her Juliet cap decorated with seed pearls held her finger-tip veil of imported net illusion. She carried a Bible topped with an orchid and stephanotis sprays and white ribbon.

Miss LaVon Domer, Minneapolis, the bride’s sister, filled the role of maid of honor. Her shrimp-colored ballerina-length dress was styled with a velvet top and a nylon tulle skirt. Completing her ensemble was a Juliet cap. She carried an arrangement of fall leaves, sprays of wheat, and white chrysanthemums, which resembled a wedding band against an emerald background.

The two bridesmaids, Elaine Falck, Appleton, the bride’s cousin, and Anna Mae Kerske, Marshfield, were both attired in ballerina-length costumes of emerald green. Their dresses were designed identical to that of the maid of honor’s and they carried similar flowers with a shrimp-colored background.

Ross Greaser, the groom’s brother, was best man. The groomsmen, Warren Phaneuf and Robert Miller, also served as ushers.

The little flower girl, Bonnie Jean Voss, Dorchester, the bride’s cousin, wore a dress of white organdy over shrimp taffeta, with a matching ribbon in her hair. She carried a white basket of fall flowers, and dropped petals before the bride in the church aisle.

Wayne Salter sang "Because" and "The Lord’s Prayer," accompanied by Gladys Loughead at the piano. Mrs. Virgil Nulton presided at the organ during the service.

Mrs. Domer viewed her daughter’s wedding in a dress of navy crepe with matching accessories. She wore a corsage of white carnations tied with red ribbons.

Following the ceremony a reception was held in the church parlors. Decorations there were carried out in the aides’ colors, shrimp and green, with bouquets of fresh fall flowers and leaves.

The bride, a graduate of the Unity, Wis. High School, is employed as secretary for St. Croix Corporation, Unity. The groom, a graduate of the Abbostford High School, who spent four years in the U. S. Army, is employed at the Marathon-Clark Co-op, Abbotsford, Wis.

When the couple left on a honeymoon trip, the bride donned a suit of dawn grey gabardine piped with a lighter grey and accented with black velvet accessories. Upon their return, they will reside in Abbotsford, Wis.

Guests at the wedding were from Eau Claire, Abbotsford, Colby, Unity, Marshfield, Stevens Point, Minneapolis, Athens, Milwaukee, Hortonville, Appleton, Baraboo, Waupaca and Dorchester, Wis.
