North Colby Town

Mr. and Mrs. Norman Jeffers and children of Fond du Lac were supper guests at the Ted Frome home Wednesday evening, and, in the evening, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Frome and family, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Jeffers and family visited at the Wm. Tesmer home.

Morris Sterzinger and Walter Schultz of Colby left last week Monday for Madison where they entered the University.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sterzinger and sons, Gorman and Randall, visited at the Emil Radtzke home Sunday.

Miss Lenora Tesmer of Milwaukee visited from Wednesday until Friday evening at the Ted Frome home.

Mr. and Mrs. Ted Frome and family were dinner and supper guests at the home of the latter’s folks, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Tesmer and family, and, in the evening, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Thieme and son visited at the Ted Frome home.

Mr. and Mrs. Ted Frome and family were dinner and supper guests at the Harry Thieme home.

Mr. and Mrs. Nick Schaffer, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Zassenhaus, Wm. E. Gosse and son, Melvin, Mrs. Helen Naubauer and Mrs. Wm. Winkel and son, Alex, visited at a road camp at Atwood Sunday where Mr. Winkel works.

Mr. and Mrs. Peter Gries visited Sunday evening at the Wm. E. Gosse home.

Mrs. Joe Jordan returned from Milwaukee Saturday evening to spend the winter months with her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. John Schommer.

Walter Beattie returned to his home at White Lake this Wednesday morning after spending the past two months with his aunt and family, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Sterzinger. The former’s brother, Gene Beattie, who was visiting here, returned with him.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Sterzinger and family attended the wedding of the former’s son in law’s sister, Miss Blendena Dahlke, who was married Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Gerhardt Schmidt and children went to Westfield Sunday to visit the former’s mother who is on the sick list.
