Lloyd, Harold (1928? - 15 May 1942)

Harold age 14, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Lloyd of Racine, was killed by a truck on Friday, Mary 15. The young man was gathering scrap iron for defense at the time of the accident.

He is survived by his parents, two brothers, and two sisters. He was a grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Lloyd of Neillsville, Wis.

The funeral was held at Racine on Tuesday.

Lloyd, Harold Douglas (29 March 1928 - 1942)

Harold Douglas Lloyd, 14, is dead, after a truck accident in Racine County. He was born in Neillsville, March 29, 1928, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Lloyd. His grandparents were Mr. and Mrs. Edward Lloyd, and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wiesner, all of Neillsville, Wis.

When Harold was one year of age he was taken to Franksville, Wis., where the family now lives. When Harold was killed he was at work collecting scrap metal for the war, and was the first civilian war worker to die in Racine County.
