Wolf, Evelyn (April 15, 1946 - July 9, 2007)

Evelyn (Buss) Wolf, 61, Vancouver, WA, loving daughter, sister and aunt, departed peacefully for her eternal journey on July 9, 2007 after a courageous and defiant battle with breast cancer.

A family memorial service will be on September 5, 2007 at Cadott.

She was one of eleven children born to Elmer and Tillie Buss on April 15, 1946 in Thorp, Wisconsin. She grew up on the family farm in Thorp. She attended Colby Grade School and Thorp High School, University of California, Sacramento, with a concentration in Accounting and received a Masters Degree from City University in Business. Evelyn was McClaskey’s Wine Distributor financial controller. She worked with the McClaskey family in several charitable events each year. Her sister Joan made her shop not only for herself, but for unsuspecting sister-in-laws. To her family and friends, she had been an inspiration for devotion to life, resilience in the face of adversity, and forgiveness.

Evelyn is survived by her mother, Tillie Buss of Cadott, also her sisters: Ma3rge (Jerry) Cerven, Joan (Woody) Carver, Betty (Bruce) Schroeder, Beverly (Glenn) Buss, and brothers: Edward (Carol) Buss, Gary (Martha) Buss, Jerry (Marge) Buss, Dennis (Kim) Buss, and David Buss; her fiancé Don Seethaler; enduring daughter, Jessie Perry and special nieces Rae Anne Buss and Linsay Watkins who provided joy and laughter as they grew into young adults. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, greats, and great-greats.

She was preceded in death by her father, Elmer and brother, Leroy.
