Bogumill, Lorrayne C. (27 JUN 1938)

Mr. and Mrs. John G. Bogumill announce the marriage of their daughter, Lorrayne Carrol, to Mr. Donald I. Walker of Davenport, Iowa.

The ceremony was performed by the Rev. O. Conner of St. Anthony Cathedral at Davenport, Iowa, at the Rectory on June 27th, 1938, at high noon.

The bride wore a black and white ensemble with a double corsage of white gardenias.

Mr. and Mrs. William Walker, parents of the groom, attended the ceremony, after which a wedding breakfast was served at the Armstrong Hotel, Rock Island, Ill.

Mr. Walker attended the University of Utah, at Salt Lake City, and was affiliated with the Sig Chi Fraternity. Miss Bogumill graduated from Thorp High School (Clark Co., Wis.), class of ’35, and also attended Marion Harland Beauty School, Milwaukee, and the Marinello Beauty School, Chicago. For the past two years she has been operator in the Vanity Beauty Shop, Thorp.

The couple will make their home in Milwaukee during the summer months where Mr. Walker is employed.

The many friends and of the newlyweds join in extending best wishes.
