Rites Set For Mrs. Schneider At Riplinger

GREENWOOD-- Mrs. Emma Schneider, 89, died Thursday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ross Sloniker, with whom she had been making her home for the past years.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Riplinger. The Rev B. F. Matter will officiate and burial will be made in the Riplinger cemetery.

Friends may call at the Hill Funeral Home here from Saturday afternoon to 11:30 a.m. Sunday when the bosy will be taken to the church.

The former Emma Ewald was born in Manitowoc Jan. 11, 1871. She was married to Henry Schneider in the town of Unity Nov. 25, 1891. Her husband died in July 1937.

She is survived by five sons, William, Sheboygan, Alvin, Manitowoc, Lester, Stratford, Erwin, Reedsville, and Clarence, DePere; four daughters, Mrs. Delia Mellenthin, Spencer, Mrs. Richard (Leona) Burnowski, Wausua, Mrs. Ross (Mildred) Sloniker, Greenwood, and Mrs. Vera Kesvedder, Inglewood, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Teena Weiland and Mrs. Mary Weiland, Unity; two brothers, William Ewald, Spencer, and Ferd Ewald, Detroit, Mich.; 24 grandchildren and 52 great-grandchildren.
