Seif, Sylvia (Marriage - 31 Dec. 1941)

A pastel green wool dress was chosen by Miss Sylvia Seif, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Seif, for her marriage to Harold F. Becker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Becker, Brillion. The wedding took place Wednesday, December 31, Patrick’s Church, Madison, performing the ceremony.

With her tailored dress, the bride wore rust colored accessories and a corsage of orchids.

The only attendants were Miss Virginia Schlytter, Madison, close friend of the bride, and Alf. Harrer, Schenectady, N. Y., fraternity brother of the groom. Miss Schlytter wore a beige wool dress and a corsage of gardenias and sweetheart roses.

Mrs. Becker attended Lawrence College, the University of Wisconsin, and graduated from Groves-Barnhart school for secretaries; and for, the past six months was employed as secretary in the First National Bank in Madison.

The groom is a graduate of the 1941 Class of the University of Wisconsin, and a member of the Delti Chi Fraternity. At present he is director of music in Coleman Schools.

After a short honeymoon trip to Chicago, the couple will reside in Coleman.
