OWEN -- Nanette "Nan" Blanche Decker, 79, of Owen, died Sunday, Aug. 12, 2007, at the Palliative Care Unit, Saint Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, with her family by her side.

For many years, Nan was employed at Master Package Corporation in Owen, Wis. She enjoyed cooking and baking, and anyone who was a guest in her home always received wonderful meals. Jigsaw puzzles, reading and flowers were among her other interests. Nan will be remembered for enjoying a good cup of coffee and good conversation.

Nan is survived by three daughters, Betty (Robert) Missling of Barron, Cathy VanWinkle of River Falls, and Pam (Karl) Lobacz of Wind Lake; seven grandchildren, Wendy (Robert) Halverson, Brad (Laurie) Missling, Jeff (Jennifer) Missling, Niki Van Winkle, Eric Petersen, Jamie (Aaron) Jacob and Stella Lobacz; five great-grandchildren, Matthew Halverson, Jacob Halverson, Breanna Ivy, Ariez Petersen and Alexandra Jacob.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor; her parents; and her siblings, Frederick, Alice, Wilder, Jesse, Robert, Bernice, Natalie, Neal, Lorna, Glenn and Leslie.

Following Nan's wishes, no funeral service will be held. A private burial service will be held at a later date at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Minn.
