At a nine o’clock special nuptial high mass Tuesday morning, Sept. 26, at Christ the King Church, Spencer, Miss Jane Adler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert G. Adler, Loyal, became the bride of Aaron Schickert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Schickert, Milwaukee.

Rev. Joseph Graff read the mass.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. She chose a mannish tailored suit of striped oxford grey with black and white accessories She wore a corsage of white asters and carried a prayer book. Ellen Kohl, friend of the bride was maid of honor, Vivian Adler, sister of the bride, was bride’s maid. They wore suits fashioned after the style of the bride’s suit. They wore Nile green with wine accessories and chocolate brown with rust accessories respectively. Miss Kohl’s corsage was of wine, yellow, and white asters. Miss Adler’s corsage was of yellow and white asters.

Cyrell Adler, brother of the bride served as best man, and Claude Schickert served his brother as groom’s man.

Mrs. Adler and Mrs. Schickert, mother of the bride and groom wore corsages of mixed flowers.

A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents. The home was decorated with white, old rose, and yellow crepe paper and white wedding bells. Large baskets of cut flowers added to the decorations.

A large wedding cake centered the bride’s table, which was decorated in white and pink. A bride and groom standing beneath an arch hung with pink flowers completed the cake decorations.

In the evening a shower and wedding dance was held at the Country Ballroom, Marshfield.

Martens, William, Jr., Richard, Timothy and Theodore, Elsie, Esther and Herman Schultz, Loyal; Mr. and Mrs. August Knorr, Mrs. John Wiltgen, Mrs., Jennie Adler, Mr. and Mrs. Roman J. Adler, all of Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Kohl, and Ione of Nasonville; Mr. and Mrs. James Gildernick, William, Harold, Howard, Pauline, Lorraine, Richard, Willard, Robert, James Jr., Mr. and Mrs. F. Gildernick and Jack Croell, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Garbush all of Chili. Coles Corners Cor.
