Rennak, Leland C. (23 FEB 1925 - 15 SEP 1939)

Leland Charles Rennak, 14, sophomore in the Loyal High School and son of Mr. and Mrs. Julius Rennak of the Town of York was born Feb. 23, 1925, and died suddenly Friday at the Neillsville Hospital.

The deceased had attended the regular classes of the high school on Thursday. He became ill suddenly, shortly before breakfast on Friday morning and was rushed to the Neillsville Hospital. Cause of his death was cerebral meningitis.

Private funeral services were conducted from the Rennak home at 8:30 o’clock Monday morning. The body was then taken to St. Anthony’s Church here where a requiem high mass was officiated by Rev. Aloys Zinthefer. Interment was made in the parish cemetery.

The deceased is survived by his parents and one sister, Mrs. Dorothy Hansen, Spencer, R. 2. Also surviving are his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rennak, Black River Falls and Mr. and Mrs. William Richmond, Neillsville, Wis.

The Tribune joins the many friends of the deceased in extending sympathy to the bereaved families.
