Jensen, Dr. A. B. (14 Dec. 1879 - 14 Dec. 1934)

Dr. A. B. Jensen, a former Colby physician, was found dead in bed at his home in Menasha Friday morning on his fifty-fifth birthday anniversary. Dr. Jensen came to Colby in 1902 and worked here until 1911 when he sold his practice of medicine to Dr. H. H. Christofferson. After a short post graduate course at Chicago, he studied at Vienna for six months, and, on his return to this country, located at Menasha.

The deceased was born December 14, 1879, at Chilton where he attended high school and worked in the office of Dr. J. E. Luce, later attending P. and S. medical school at Chicago from which he graduated. He was married in 1903 to Miss Irma Puchner at New Holstein.

Surviving are his widow and two sons, Dr. Fredrich Jensen, at Menasha and Richard Jensen attending medical school in New York city; three sisters, Mrs. Henry Krohl, Mrs. Charles Schnell and Mrs. Charles Schwalbe, of Chilton and a brother, Gerhardt Jensen, sheriff of Calumet county.
