Dittmeyer, Irene (Marriage - 18 Oct. 1933)

A very pretty fall wedding was solemnized Wednesday afternoon, Rev. M. C. Goetsch, pastor of the Lutheran church at Green Grove, reading the marriage ceremony, when Miss Irene Dittmeyer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Dittmeyer, became the bride of Mr. William Theilig, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Theilig. Miss Clara Thielig, sister of the groom, acted as bridesmaid and the groom was attended by Henry Dittmeyer, brother of the bride.

The bride was attired in a beautiful gown of light blue rough crepe and her tulle veil was held in place by a bandeau of pearls. She carried a bride’s bouquet of pink and white carnations.

Immediately following the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, and dinner was served to fifty guests. The house was nicely decorated with pink, blue and white streamers for the occasion.

Mr. and Mrs. Theilig will make their home on the groom’s farm in the town of Colby and are now at home to their friends.
