Tieman, David Robert (July 10, 1965 - July 10, 2007)

David Tieman 42, of Owen, died Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at Clark County Health Care Center, Owen, due to complications of a brain aneurysm.

David Robert Tieman was born July 10, 1965, in Stanley, the son of Earl and Maybelle (Rasmussen) Tieman. After high school graduation, David studied Diesel and Heavy Equipment as a mechanic. David and Julie Roytek were united in marriage May 9, 1987, in Thorp. David was employed with Ridgeland Lumber Company of Ridgeland, moving to reside in Thorp where he worked for Courtesy Auto and Truck. He was later employed with Radke Chevrolet of Stanley and Haas Sons Inc., Thorp, and Industrial Fabricators of Thorp. His mechanical expertise was appreciated by many.

Dave’s free time was spent as a self-taught computer whiz and also included many weekends spent "up north" fishing and hunting with family and friends. David was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Longwood, a volunteer for the Thorp Fire Department and the Black River Sportsmen Club.

Dave was a very compassionate and loving son, brother, husband, and father who will be missed by his wife of 20 years, Julie Tieman of Owen; his son Eric Tieman, of Owen; his daughter Rachel Tieman, of Owen; his father Earl Tieman, of Marshfield; his sister Sally (Cliff) Licht, of Eagle; his brother Mike Tieman, of Port Orchard, WA, and his father and mother-in-law, Rodney and Charlene Roytek, of Owen, Wis.

He was preceded in death by his mother Maybelle Tieman.

David Robert Tieman was a devoted husband, father and friend to many.

Funeral services for David will be Wednesday July 18, 2007, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in the Town of Longwood, with visitation starting at 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. Reverend Terry Blomberg will officiate.

Maurina/Community Funeral Home assisted the family.
