Miss Adelia Schuh, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Schuh, Jr., and Mr. Clarence Strade, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Strade of Curtiss, were united in marriage Thursday, May 11th, at one o’clock in the afternoon at the parsonage of the St. Mary’s Catholic church, Rev. L. J. Lang reading the marriage ceremony. Miss Dorothy Schuh acted as maid of honor and Miss Meta Dehne served as bridesmaid. The groom was attended by Leo Biel and Harry Strade.

The bride was attired in a beautiful dress of yellow net over yellow taffeta with hat and slippers to match and carried a shower bouquet of roses, carnations and sweet peas. The maid of honor wore a dress of green taffeta with puff sleeves and white hat and slippers and her corsage bouquet consisted of roses, sweet peas and carnations. The bridesmaid wore a dress of peach crepe with puff sleeves and a white hat and her corsage bouquet also consisted of roses, sweet peas and carnations.

After the wedding ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, the home being nicely decorated in rainbow colors for the occasion. In the evening, a wedding dance was given at Wiedenhoeft’s park which was largely attended by friends and relatives.

The newlyweds will make their home on the Gustav Wiedenhoeft farm.
