Seefeldt, Frank A. (4 Mar. 1912 - 27 Jan. 1972)

Frank A. Seefeldt, 59, died of an apparent heart attack at 3 p.m. Thursday at his home at 100 N. Palmetto Ave.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Immanuel Lutheran Church with the Rev. Theodore Krueger, associate pastor, officiating. Burial will be made in Hillside cemetery.

Visitations may be made at the Hanson Chapel from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. Saturday, and Sunday until 1:30 p.m. and then at the church.

Mr. Seefeldt was born March 4, 1912, in the town of Sherman, Clark County, and received his education in Clark County schools. He was married Aug. 30, 1934, to Hilda Oelrich, in the town of Brighton.

The couple farmed on route 1, Loyal, until 1945 and then moved to Spencer. They resided there until 1965 when they came to Marshfield. He had since been employed at Weyerhaeuser Company here.

He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, was an elder of the church, and a member of the Lutheran Laymen’s League.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Elda) Rust, and Mrs. Norman (Faye) Maxwell, both of Marshfield; seven grandchildren; a brother Arnold Seefeldt, rural Unity; and his mother, Mrs. Herman (Ida) Seefeldt, Spencer.

He was preceded in death by his father.
