Kenyon, Sharon (11 FEB 1943 - 30 MAY 2007)

Sharon Kenyon, 64, Spencer, died Wednesday, May 30, 2007, at Saint Joseph’s Hospital Palliative Care Unity, Marshfield. Funeral services were held Monday, June 4, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer. The Rev. Robert Olson officiated. Burial was in the West Spencer Cemetery. Pallbearers were Tom Cook, Terry Gallion, Bill Gardener, Chad Hederer, Jeremy Krause, and Harold Smith.

Sharon Kenyon was born Feb. 11, 1943, in Spencer, to Lester and Dorothy (nee Fravert) Kenyon. She was a graduate of Spencer High School. After high school, she worked for Land O’Lakes in Spencer from 1962-2005, when she retired. Family was important to her. She was a kind, caring and giving person. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her sister, Judy (Dave) Hederer; her brother, Kenneth (Terry) Kenyon; her nieces and nephews, Cheryl (Terry) Gallion, Nancy (Tom) Cook, Brenda (Bill) Gardener, Stacy (Jeremy) Krause, and Chad Hederer; six great-nephews; and five great-nieces.

Everyone knows someone who is truly amazing

The one who touches you in ways unknown

By giving you hops, strength and determination

Love and laughter to the end

We are blessed to know someone this truly unique

What she has given her family and friends will never be forgotten

She has improved our lives with her presence

Now Lord we give her to you

Knowing that she will continue to touch our lives

As she watches over us

And gives us hope, strength, and determination we need

As well as continuing love and laughter we’ve always had

Forgetting not the wonderful life she will have with you

A life of health and nothing less than she deserves
