Boinski, Victoria (23 DEC 1852 - 20 JUN 1936)

Mrs. Victoria Boinski died of old age infirmities at her farm home in the town of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) on June 20th, 1936. She had reached the age of 83 years, 5 months and 3 days.

Victoria Bracieszewska was born in Poland on Dec. 23, 1852. She was united in marriage to Mike Boinski there fifty-seven years ago. The couple came to America with their family in 1888 and resided for four years in Matrona, Pa., before coming to Thorp and settling on a farm northeast of the village in 1892. Mr. Boinski passed away some years ago.

She leaves to mourn, three sons, Walter of Rochester, N.Y., Felix of Thorp and Adam, two daughters, Josephine Nowicki and Marie Kutnarowski, both of Thorp, ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The funeral was held at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church at Posen last Thursday morning, Rev. F.A. Kulig officiating, and interment taking place in St. Hedwig’s Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Anton Papierniak, Mike Przybylski, Geo. Zukowski, Mick Jasinski, John Zajaczkowski, and Martin Rycerz.
