Koskinen, John (4 JUN 1877 - 27 MAY 1936)

John Koskinen, aged 58 years, 10 months and 23 days, died at Owen, Clark Co., Wis., May 27th, 1936, of acute nephritis.

Deceased was born in Yeteli, Finland, Europe, on June 4, 1877. He was united in marriage to Hilda Haapasalo, on July 28, 1904, at Hibbing, Minn., the couple living some time at Gilbert and Sparta, Minn., and since June 19, 1915 have resided on a farm in the southern part of the town of Reseburg (Clark Co.).

He leaves to mourn, one brother, Alex Koskie, Grey Eagle, Minn., three sisters, Mrs. A. Isoniemi, Finland, three sons, George, Bethel, Minn., Hans and Carl, Greenwood, two daughters, Lily Koskinen, Nashwauk, Minn., and Mrs. Oscar Krohn, Minneapolis.

Last rites were conducted by Rev. Powell of Owen, at the home at three o’clock, May 30th, and interment was made in the Riverside Cemetery near Black River.
