Domer, Mr./Mrs. Theodore (25th Anniv. - 12 May 1951)

The twenty-fifth wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Domer was celebrated Saturday evening with a party given by their daughters, the Misses Elaine and LaVon Domer, in the Methodist Church parlors. There were approximately seventy-five guests present.

Mr. and Mrs. Domer were married at the Veefkind parsonage May 12, 1926 by the Rev. F. Eske. The attendants were Miss Evelyn Hansen, cousin of the bride, and Chris Kind of Marshfield.

The room was attractively decorated with aqua, blue and white streamers and large white wedding bells.

After the guests were seated a program was presented with Miss LaVon Domer acting as Mistress of Ceremonies.

Mrs. Rodney Fuller opened the program with a vocal solo "Sweetheart" followed by a reading by Jerry Meacham. Rae Ann Loughead sang "Always." Appropriate remarks were made by the Rev. F. J. Smith. A favorite record of Mr. and Mrs. Domer, "I Love You" was played by Elaine Domer and the program concluded with a vocal trio, Mrs. Joe Grien, and Mrs. George Gregor of Milwaukee and Mrs. Art Helterhoff of Athens.

Out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Voss, Waupaca; Mr. and Mrs. Ed Voss and family, and Mr. Gust Voss of Dorchester; Mr. and Mrs. Louis Justman, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Crossgrove and the Rev. and Mrs. F. J. Smith of Colby; Mr. and Mrs. William Domer of Riplinger; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Grien and sons, and Mr. and Mrs. George Gregor and family of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Art Held, of Athens; Miss LaVon Domer, Minneapolis; Mr. Myron Greaser of Abbotsford; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ecke, Marshfield; and Mr. Lannie Voss of Sheboygan.
